After our meeting we took Claudia to the park to play, she loves it. There were a couple of other children there and she watched them a lot. She really seems to like other kids. Here are some videos from the park:

Hooray, another step in the process. MORE paperwork, MORE meetings, MORE time, MORE love. Speaking of MORE, was she signing 'more' at the top of the slide each time she was ready to go down? From this SLP's view it sure looked like a meaningful gesture at the very least. MORE CLAUDIA! MORE smiles MORE prayers.

ReplyDeleteThank you Heather, we do have a long way to go still, that is for sure, but after a year of waiting, we are so glad that we are finally here with Claudia. We do not think she knows any sign language at this time but hope to teach her some! She is not really speaking much, she says "Hola, Hola," "MaMa" and "Papa" but really with any meaning. Her motions are meaningful for sure though!
